Handmade Gifts

A friend on Facebook posted a note called "To the first 5 people to respond..." and it consists of the first 5 people that place a comment on the note receiving a hand-made gift from that person, with the understanding that they then turn around and post the same message with the same requirements and so forth...make sense? So, I was drawn in of course because I love anything hand-made. It's kind of a 'pay it forward' sort of thing, and I like that.
I responded (as one of the first 5) and then posted my note and of course had five people respond to my note, and now I have 5 (actually, 7 - I'm a sucker and can't say no) people to make hand-made things for...
I love this part. I love making things for people and getting a positive response. You know, in life I have realized that one is either a gift giver, or a receiver of gifts. At some point in my late childhood/early adulthood I turned from being a gift receiver, and now I much more enjoy giving a gift. I am so excited to attempt to personalize each of these gifts to each friend's liking...I hope I get it right! And the hard part will be waiting to blog about it until after they receive it! Every time I make something, I want to share it right away. So this will be difficult.
Kelly is first up, and I know exactly what I am going to make for her!!

Yes, this is about as exciting as my life gets....
